How to Apply for Membership

Becoming a member of Margem Credit Cooperative is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to join our growing community: Step 1: Review the Requirements Before applying, please review our membership requirements to ensure you have all the necessary documents and qualifications. Visit our Requirements page for the complete list. Step 2: Complete the Application Form You can apply online through our website by visiting the Apply Online page, or you can visit our office to fill out a printed application form. The form asks for your personal information, employment details, and beneficiary information. Step 3: Submit Required Documents Along with your application, you will need to submit: - A valid government-issued ID - Two (2) 1x1 ID pictures - Proof of address (utility bill, barangay certificate, etc.) - Your initial share capital contribution Step 4: Attend the Membership Orientation All new members are required to attend a short orientation session where we explain the cooperative's principles, your rights and responsibilities as a member, and the services available to you. Orientations are held every Saturday at 9:00 AM. Step 5: Pay the Initial Share Capital The minimum initial share capital contribution is ₱1,000. This represents your ownership stake in the cooperative and can be paid in cash or through bank transfer. Step 6: Receive Your Member ID Once your application is approved and your share capital is paid, you will receive your official member ID number and card. You can then start enjoying all the benefits of membership, including savings, loans, and mortuary aid. Processing Time Applications are typically processed within 3-5 working days.
