Membership Requirements

To become a member of Margem Credit Cooperative, please ensure you meet the following requirements and prepare the necessary documents: Eligibility Requirements - At least 18 years of age - Of good moral character - Willing to abide by the cooperative's bylaws and policies - Able to pay the minimum share capital contribution Required Documents 1. Accomplished Membership Application Form - Available at our office or online through the Apply Online page 2. 2 Valid Government-Issued ID - National ID, Driver's License, Passport, or Voter's ID - Must be current and unexpired 3. Two (2) 1x1 ID Pictures - Recent photos with white background 4. Proof of Address - Utility bill (electric, water, internet) - Barangay certificate of residency - Lease agreement or certificate of occupancy 5. Initial Share Capital - Minimum of ₱1,000 - Payable in cash or via bank transfer 6. Beneficiary Information - Name and contact details of your designated beneficiary - Relationship to the beneficiary Additional Requirements for Employed Applicants - Certificate of employment or company ID - Latest payslip (1 month) Additional Requirements for Self-Employed Applicants - Business permit or DTI registration - Latest income tax return (if available) Notes - All submitted documents must be authentic and current - The cooperative reserves the right to request additional documents as needed - Incomplete applications will not be processed until all requirements are met - There is no application fee — membership is free to apply If you have questions about any of these requirements, please contact us or visit our office during working hours.
